1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using PingVoice ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

PingVoice provides a text-to-speech notification service that converts text messages sent via API into spoken audio delivered through WebSocket connections to your browser. The Service is designed for developers and applications that need real-time audio notifications.

3. Account Registration

To use the Service, you must create an account and provide accurate information. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and API tokens. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
• Send content that is abusive, threatening, obscene, or violates any laws
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or its systems
• Use the Service in a way that could damage, disable, or impair it
• Resell or redistribute the Service without our written consent
• Use automated systems to abuse the API beyond reasonable limits

5. Credits and Payment

The Service operates on a credit-based system where 1 credit equals 1 character of text. Credits are consumed when your API request is processed, regardless of whether the audio is successfully delivered to your browser.

We offer two types of credits:

• Monthly Credits: Included with your subscription plan and reset to your plan amount each billing cycle. Unused monthly credits do not roll over.
• Purchased Credits: One-time purchases that never expire and remain available until used.

Subscriptions automatically renew each billing period via PayPal unless cancelled before the renewal date. You can cancel at any time through your account settings. Upon cancellation, you retain access until the end of your current billing period. Credit packages and subscription fees are non-refundable once processed. We reserve the right to modify pricing with reasonable notice.

6. API Usage

API access is provided through secure tokens. You are responsible for keeping your API tokens confidential. Text-to-speech requests have a maximum length of 4,000 characters per request. Excessive API usage that impacts service performance may result in rate limiting or account suspension.

7. Service Availability

While we strive for high availability, we do not guarantee uninterrupted access to the Service. We may perform maintenance or updates that temporarily affect availability. We will make reasonable efforts to notify users of planned maintenance.

8. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its design, features, and content (excluding user-submitted content), is owned by PingVoice and protected by intellectual property laws. You retain ownership of any content you submit through the Service.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, PingVoice shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from your use of the Service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the Service in the 12 months preceding the claim.

10. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account at any time for violation of these terms or for any other reason with reasonable notice. You may terminate your account at any time by contacting support. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately.

11. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will provide notice of significant changes via email or through the Service. Your continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
